![]() ![]() Make all the player's units put into the loadout be set on a timer or link it to the RPG-esque levelling system where if you kill enough units, you get to spawn them in that way instead. Big recommendation I'm going to put forward is just absolutely ABANDON the promotion unlocks for your units. By the time you spawn them in if you were to use them, the battle will already be over in some capacity. I sat with 11 APCs, 7 tanks and 6 Spec Ops because there is no reason to use them. The enemy faction doesn't suffer from this, and they get heroes spam ontop of that. You have to unlock the already unlocked rare type of unit in the match for a second time. You unlock a rare type of unit and place it into loadout. You fight a few missions with some basic forces. Here's a big problem I've identified so far in one playthrough and I will walk through the routine: Given that various instances of the game's different sets of missions, you are often using the same variation of units over, and over again because there isn't any actual incentive to use the stronger types. ![]() Almost as if it feels wasteful in a way to the player if you never get a chance in the battle to use them - at least with the current systems in place. ![]() It seems entirely strange that deploying units for a mission and then /not/ being able to keep them is a very strange mechanic. ![]()
